Ashley Nicole Affair
principal planner + operations
Amanda introduced us to the term Wisconsinite and ever since then, we never let her go! She has a passion for celebration and bringing others together. She has over ten years in the service industry and she poured her extensive knowledge into her own wedding. Planning her own wedding, as well as her best friend's during a pandemic, has taught her how to roll with the punches. She thrives on the chaos and immerses herself in the corporate world by day and weddings by night.
We immediately noticed and fell in love with her top knotch leadership skills. She respectfully can control large crowds with her down to earth personality, while also becoming apart of the party. She continues to establish incredible relationships in the industry with our fellow wedding vendors.
CEO + Co-FOUNDER
Ashley keeps her roots planted in New Mexico, while embracing everything Texas has to offer. She chose to sever ties with corporate America and co-founded Ashley Nicole Affair; that's your heads up that her middle name is not Nicole. After planning her own wedding, she realized her life had to revolve around weddings! Her + her [wedding photographer] husband continue to inspire each other every day.
John, her husband + owner of
, love nothing more than celebrating engagements with their couples. They have happily traveled all over the country to work weddings and continue to do so. They pride themselves on getting to know their couples, in order to create a more personal experience and exceed expectations. When they're not busy with weddings and their five cats, they're chasing around their five year old son!
Although Beth is a Denver native, strangely something about the Texas heat and Hill Country brought her to us; and for that, we are thankful! She has an incredible background in the wedding industry ranging from catering, to venue management, to private clubs and hotels. She is a woman of many hats, while focusing on the details. She multi-tasks by working with us, managing social media, and is also with one of our preferred catering companies! The greatest thing about Beth is that she is able to focus on the whole operation of an event from different angles than just the planner.
She is amazing at communicating how food + beverage will fit into your wedding day, while educating as to why it will be one of the biggest spends when it comes to your budget.
While being raised in Galveston, she had the honor of planning her Aunt's wedding. From that moment on, she knew this was her calling. Her love for the chaos of a wedding continued while she coordinated weddings in League City. She loves chaos so much that she also balances a full time teaching career with an elementary school. During the pandemic, while also planning several weddings, she even won Teacher of the Year at her school!
We love her never-ending amount of patience, quick thinking, intuition, and admiration for teaching. She is always going above and beyond to make sure her couple's day is flawless. She met her fairy tale love story during quarantine; she's our true Rapunzel!
Emily brings five years of experience in the hospitality industry to the table, which makes her knowledgable when it comes to every type of event. She loves being at weddings on the day of, while also helping them in the beginning when it comes to working around a couple’s budget. With her love for numbers, she has realized that no detail is too small and is able to make sure that nothing gets overlooked during the planning process! Her eager spirit leads her drive to turn an empty space into something special for her couples.
The most important part about her job is being present when her couples walk into the room for the first time on their wedding day. In fact, Emily is also planning her wedding for this fall and can't wait to walk into her wedding day dream!
bilingual principal planner
Being raised in a military family has really allowed Jamie to incorporate a combination of authority led by her loving and endearing personality. She easily adapts to new environments and situations on the fly. She has earned her way to a top position with HEB, which is where her management skills truly flourished. When Jamie was six months pregnant, she was proudly doing forty hours a week of weddings, forty hours a week at HEB, and still made time for her husband!
We love that she is always going above and beyond for our couples and their family. She notices every single detail and has a solution before a problem even exists. She has taught us important aspects of conflict resolution; and she can say everything in Spanish!
Jessica's eye for creating beautiful tablescapes compliment her ability to transform a blank slate. She has immersed herself in the wedding industry all over the country from Seattle, to Denver, to LA, and now Austin. She joined our team from the company's foundation, which has given her extensive experience with all of the venues from San Antonio, to Austin, and all over the Hill Country. She loves impressing more than just her couples, and always achieves the parents final approval. She is an incredible mother to her three children and has been married for nearly ten years.
director of digital marketing
Liz is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada but relocated to Austin in 2012 and instantly fell in love. Her favorite thing about the city is how much it encourages and supports local businesses, artists, and creatives. She also loves the wedding industry in Austin, and has wanted to be a part of it since her time studying Health at Texas A&M University - where she planned big, themed events at her house every semester (including an 80’s prom once) and focused on that a bit more than her classes sometimes. Also while in college, she began teaching herself modern calligraphy & graphic design which she utilizes daily creating wedding invitations, signage, etc. for her stationery design business -
