I can't even remember how long ago it was, but my favorite DJ in the biz, Brandon sent me a message connecting me to a random lead that he received. He had introduced me to Molly, who quickly we became my client, but most importantly we became fast friends. After talking once, she had booked our services & even my husband for photography, on top of the DJ... before even deciding on the venue for her September wedding. Sometime in between booking us and not booking the venue, Molly found out that her and Jake were expecting a baby. She had contacted me to tell me the news and we celebrated over the phone. We decided to let things sit for a few days and reconnect after her first doctor appointment about how we were going to fit a wedding into their lives.
We don't even know where to begin bragging about being a part of Emily & VK's wedding! We always brag about the relationships that develop with our couples along the way. Not only did we develop a friendship with Emily & VK, but we got really close to Emily's mom and dad. They were assisting in planning the wedding all the way from Florida, while Emily & VK resided in Dallas. Whenever everyone was able to come into town, we would drop what we are doing and get together to work on wedding details and laugh the whole time! Seriously, we had such a great time together and we can honestly say that we spent a majority of 2019 talking about Hootie & The Blowfish, thanks to Don, the bride's dad.
We could not obsess anymore over the details and how everything came together! They were so good at incorporating details into their decor - from beer growlers used as table assignments, to an heirloom cake topper & a custom fondant creation made to look exactly like their dog, Curry! Their guestbook was the cookbook from their catering company, The Peached Tortilla - talk about that being the best idea ever for a guestbook!
