Barbara has been in the wedding and catering business for more than 40 years. In 1996, she opened her own business called Barbara's Brides. She helped the early Austin wedding business grow and get organized. Barbara was a founding member to create the first Austin association for wedding planners and vendors, called AWEC, and led it for many years, including as President. She was also on the board of NEAWP and helped personally mentor a lot of planners along the way. She has always been a leader, able to make people feel calm, surrounds herself with good, creative energy, and with her vast experience knows how to get things done. If you need to change direction, help with creating a vision or solving a problem, Barbara can do it!
As an empty-nester for six years, Barbara's main goal has been to improve her mind, body, and spirit and anyone else who wants to do the same. Helping others keep their eyes on the most important things in life, believing in themselves, loving what makes them special, always moving forward, learning new things, and trying different paths. |

With extensive experience in various cities across the country, including Seattle, Denver, LA, and Austin, Jessica's expertise in the hospitality industry is enriched by her diverse experiences. Her insider knowledge ensures seamless planning, but her hard work is mostly done behind the scenes as she is the mastermind behind all of our social media! Jessica is also a supermom, balancing family and passion with grace. With nearly ten years of marriage, Jessica understands the significance of this special journey.
